First impressions are everything! Wrap all your gifts this year in pure Italian charm! Italian wrapping paper, otherwise known as Carta Varese, for its origin in Northern Italy, is a beautiful and substantial paper that has a wide variety of applications, wrapping gifts being one of them.

The printing process of Carta Varese is elaborate. The two way and multicoloured papers are printed in a single coloured machine. Every colour is printed separately, so the paper sheets run through the machine several times, a method reminiscent of silk-screen printing. This is the reason why the colours of Carta Varese are so bright and dense even though it is an offset print.
